Sorry I've been away so long, Joni!

I'm catching up today!

As aways, I love the quotes on Saturdays...

Two struck me and go together so well:

"There are three rules for writing the novel. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are."
Somerset Maugham

"You must write for yourself, above all. That is [your] only hope of creating something beautiful."
~Gustave Flaubert

I wish writers would not follow "trends" and write what they are passionate about. Life is short, so why do anything else?

Take care,
June
